Gate 50: The Gate of Values
This gate is where we keep the values we acquire at home and school. It is important to us that others acknowledge and respect these values because they serve as our foundation. We treasure these values and pass them down from generation to generation. You have a tendency to look through the values and pick out the ones that are right for you. If it weren’t for our values, we wouldn’t be able to do the things that make success possible. By standing up for the right values, you become an example to others. This leads to a heightened sense of responsibility, which also leads to fear.
