I't is based on the idea that each individual has a unique "design" that is determined by their birth chart, which is a map of the positions of the planets and other celestial bodies at the exact moment of one's birth. This design reveals one's innate characteristics, strengths, and tendencies, as well as one's unique path or purpose in life. The Human Design System is based on the concept of a "bodygraph", which is a map of the positions of the planets and other celestial bodies at the exact moment of one's birth. The bodygraph is divided into nine centers, each representing a different aspect of the individual's design, such as the mind, emotions, and physical body. Each center is connected to one or more of the 64 gates, which are specific points on the bodygraph representing specific energies or qualities. The 36 channels are the lines that connect the different gates and centers and provide insight into how the energies of the gates and centers interact and influence each other. The nine centers and their themes are: The Head: pressure center, inspiration The Ajna: awareness center, certainty The Throat: manifestation, communication and action The G: self, love, and life direction The Heart: motor center willpower and value The Solar Plexus: motor and awareness center, emotional clarity The Sacral: motor center, workforce and life-force energy The Root: pressure and motor center, adrenaline energy The Splenic: awareness center, survival, intuition, immune system, and time The 64 gates are associated with specific energies or qualities, such as courage, nurturing, and creativity.
