Some Guidance for Those Just Starting Out with Human Design
Where should I start if I don’t know anything about Human Design? If you are reading this article, it means you have just opened the door to a whole new world of knowledge about your personality. Human Design is a practical guide to how you work. How you can make the right decisions, how to find the right job, how to enjoy life and not just get by, and how to establish strong relationships with loved ones, friends, and colleagues: These are just some of the things you learn in Human Design. The first and most important thing is your type. There are five in total: Manifestor, Projector, Manifesting Generator, Generator, Reflector. Study the descriptions of your type and those of the others. You will learn a lot about yourself and your environment right away. The second step involves your Authority. It’s a strategy to help you steer clear of mistakes and subsequent future regret. Everyone’s Authority is different and depends on their bodygraph. Your Authority helps you make the right decisions. There are a total of eight Authorities in the system. You can find out more about yours in the Profile section. The third step involves your profile. Everyone is assigned one of 12 possible profiles. If our type is our body, then our profile is the suit we wear for the whole of our life. Our profile is the role that we play in this life. It is made up of character traits, behavioral patterns, and how we communicate with the world. Step four is sure to capture your imagination with the nine energy centers, the meanings of channels and gates, or red and black in design. The main thing is to study Human Design at your own pace and to apply what you’ve learned. As they say in the Human Design community: Have a good experiment!
